Rudolf-Oetker-Halle, Bielefeld: The symphony concert in the Great Hall has already started when a family arrives late in the foyer. While mother and daughter are rushing to enter, father and future son-in-law want to have a quick beer. Suddenly a stranger appears in the foyer, someone who obviously doesn't "belong here" and has ended up here anyway. Does he have a ticket? Does he need help? Is he dangerous? - This initial situation is the subject of the second chamber opera premiere, which the stages and orchestras were able to commission thanks to the NEUE WEGE funding from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. New music theater with current topics, which not only appeals to the interests of younger people with little theater experience, but is designed, composed and realized by them under professional conditions

For the libretto by Robert Lehmeier, who not only has directing experience but also has creative musical theater practice from the townships in South Africa, two students compose the work in collaboration with and supervised by the composer and musician Cathy Milliken. Also on board: the music theater youth club MuTh, which has developed impulses for the design of the libretto and accompanies the creation process from "zero hour" on. In the Oetkerhalle, however, the situation threatens to escalate: »It cannot end like this. We'll try again. There is always a second attempt. Again from ›I don't want a Nazi ...‹, please! "
