Revise your classics at the Opéra de Rennes devoted to a unique work, full of audacity and freshness,  the founding opera of the English repertoire. The tragic loves of the queen of Carthage Dido and the Trojan warrior Aeneas found at the end of the 17th century, under the pen of the brilliant Henry Purcell, a musical and theatrical expression that was simply perfect.

The presentation is provided by  Paul Brochen  and the musical direction by  Damien Guillon with the participation of the Banquet Céleste and in collaboration with the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Rennes – Chœur Prolatio and the Department of Early Music .
