Avec sa délicieuse atmosphère viennoise mâtinée de cadences tziganes, l'oeuvre de Kálmán triomphe depuis 1915, notamment lorsqu'elle est servie par de grands interprètes, à l'image de Marcel Merkès et Paulette Merval. Princesse Czardas ayant été l'opérette de leurs adieux, ces représentations se veulent un hommage à ces artistes d'exception.

With its delicious Viennese atmosphere mixed with gypsy rhythms, Kálmán's work has triumphed since 1915, especially when served by great performers, such as Marcel Merkès and Paulette Merval. Princess Czardas having been the operetta of their farewells, these performances are intended as a tribute to these exceptional artists.
