Johann Strauss' most famous work Die Fledermaus without violins and without plush, instead with bass, guitar and weird rhythms: Director Stefan Huber brings the classic to the stage in a form that is able to inspire lovers and haters of operettas alike. Tobias Bonn and Christoph Marti (Pfister siblings) sing, play and cheat in the story of lust for pleasure, schadenfreude and miserable booze as the over-saturated married couple Gabriel and Rosalinde. Music and characters swirl wildly through all eras, from the Belle Époque to the hippie era.

In the Bernhard Theater we are showing a co-production with the Casinotheater Winterthur, about which the Tages-Anzeiger wrote: “In the Fledermaus there is also a lot of drinking. But the audience gets a little bit from the intoxication of the operetta. We were very happy with happiness, like after two or three glasses of champagne. And we almost kissed the neighbor out of sheer enthusiasm. " Do not miss!
