This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Beijing Philharmonic Choir, an organization founded by renowned conductor and music educator Professor Yang Hongnian that has been celebrated worldwide as an arts organization that promotes world peace and friendship.
Emblematic of China’s reform era, the organization continues to sustain Professor Yang’s motto in promoting love and contributing to society, dedicating itself to community activities through vocal music.
Most recently, artistic director and conductor Yang Li has introduced much innovation in repertoire and performance format, injecting movement and staging into the conventional concert format. At the 2023 Beijing Music Festival, the Choir will create an immersive performance experience, interacting with the audience in close proximity while creating a veritable, one-of-a-kind choral symphony.

今年是北京爱乐合唱团成立四十周年， 这支由著名指挥家、音乐教育家杨鸿年教授成立的合唱团享誉世界合唱领域，作为传播世界和平友爱的重要艺术团队为中国从改革开放年间到今，见证了中国一个又一个用音乐传递给世界的历史篇章， 北京爱乐合唱团始终秉承杨鸿年教授提出的“爱与奉献”的宗旨，积极参加公益演出活动、用歌声向人们传递美的音乐和爱的情感。
近年来，由指挥家杨力作为北京爱乐合唱团艺术总监在演唱曲目和表演形式上不断创新，在保留传统音乐会演出形式的同时，尝试加入动作和场景表演。2023 年是北京爱乐合唱团 40 周年团庆年，合唱团在表演形式上将作出进一步的拓展。2023 年 10 月合唱团在北京国际音乐节的演出，结合传统音乐会和现代沉浸式体验方式，呈现一场充满互动体验的音乐盛宴。音乐会上，童声与整体剧场空间的交融、合唱团员与观众的直接互动将组成一部特殊的“合唱交响乐”。
