n the beginning there was a Russian folk tale "The Flying Ship". Then came the cartoon. The one with whom the whole country once sang from the heart: “Oh, my life is a tin can ... And I fly, and I fly, and I want to fly” ... Songs that have become hits, a fascinating fairy tale plot, extraordinary characters - all this made The Flying Ship desirable on any theater stage. True, the cartoon itself is too short, and in order to make a big interesting performance based on it, composer Maxim Dunaevsky and poet Yuri Entin composed new songs, director Philip Razenkov came up with new plot twists, and artist Vladislav Anisenkov saw the fairy-tale country in which the princess lives in a new way Zabava, Vanya the chimney sweep, Babki-Yozhki and other heroes of this old fairy tale. However, as before, they all live a dream: Fun with Ivan dream of love and a happy family, the Tsar - about a bottomless treasury, Vodyanoy - about a high flight, and Polkan - about unlimited power. But these characters are no longer cartoons - they take on real life. And this changes a lot. We really want our "Flying Ship" to be a real performance for the whole family. He seems to be not very childish - about love after all ... But not an adult either - this is a fairy tale. It really is for everyone. And let everyone, regardless of age, want to fly with Zabava and Ivan into the unknown depths of happiness, without first forgetting to say: “Earth, goodbye! Good luck!". And this changes a lot.
