Attention! This week for the Dego/De Souza concert the evening shift will be staged on Sunday 10 December at 9 pm while the afternoon shift keeps the usual Saturday at 5.30 pm.

At the Politeama this week, Saturday 9 December at 5.30 pm ( afternoon shift) and Sunday 10 December at 9pm (evening shift) , it is the turn of a young violinist, Francesca Dego , winner of important international prizes and one of the best Italian performers who Salvatore Accardo, with whom she perfected her skills, has defined as “one of the most extraordinary talents I have met”. The Sicilian Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by the Canadian Jordan de Souza . On the programme: the Concerto in D major op. 77 for violin and orchestra by Brahms and Symphony no. 8 in F major op. 93 by Beethoven .
