The gala concert "To the 120th anniversary of Aram Khachaturian" is a tribute to the memory of the great composer, conductor, teacher and public figure of the 20th century. The work of Aram Khachaturian is well known all over the world. During his creative life, the composer created a huge number of musical masterpieces. He was a master in various musical genres: he wrote ballets - the most famous "Gayane" and "Spartacus", compositions for orchestra, concertos and rhapsodic concertos for violin, piano and cello with orchestra, vocal and choral works, music for theater productions (including M. Lermontov's drama "Masquerade").

Many outstanding musicians such as David Oistrakh, Mstislav Rostropovich, Lev Oborin, Yakov Flier, Van Cliburn, Natalya Shakhovskaya, Nikolai Petrov performed Khachaturian's works with great success. The maestro composed such music that often immediately after the premiere performance it became incredibly popular. So it was with the brilliant "Saber Dance" from the ballet "Gayane" and "Waltz" from the music for the drama "Masquerade".

The jubilee gala concert on September 24 will feature the most famous works by Aram Khachaturian: instrumental concertos, fragments from the ballets Gayane and Spartacus, music for M. Lermontov's drama Masquerade.

Gayk Kazazyan (violin) will take part in the concert - the winner and laureate of many international competitions, including the P.I. Tchaikovsky in Moscow, the G. Venyavsky competition in Poznan, the Jacques Thibaut and Marguerite Long competition in Paris, the Paganini competition in Moscow. He was awarded a gold medal and an audience award at violin competitions in Switzerland and Tongyeong (South Korea).

Гала-концерт «К 120-летию Арама Хачатуряна» – это дань памяти великому композитору, дирижеру, педагогу и общественному деятелю XX века. Творчество Арама Хачатуряна хорошо известно во всем мире. За свою творческую жизнь композитор создал огромное количество музыкальных шедевров. Он был мастером в различных музыкальных жанрах: его перу принадлежат балеты – самые известные «Гаянэ» и «Спартак», сочинения для оркестра, концерты и концерты-рапсодии для скрипки, фортепиано и виолончели с оркестром, вокальные и хоровые произведения, музыка для театральных постановок (в том числе к драме М. Лермонтова «Маскарад»).

Многие выдающиеся музыканты, такие как Давид Ойстрах, Мстислав Ростропович, Лев Оборин, Яков Флиер, Ван Клиберн, Наталья Шаховская, Николай Петров, с огромным успехом исполняли произведения Хачатуряна. Маэстро сочинял такую музыку, что зачастую сразу после премьерного исполнения она становилась невероятно популярной. Так было с блистательным «Танцем с саблями» из балета «Гаянэ» и «Вальсом» из музыки к драме «Маскарад».

В юбилейном гала-концерте 24 сентября прозвучат самые известные сочинения Арама Хачатуряна: инструментальные концерты, фрагменты из балетов «Гаянэ» и «Спартак», музыка к драме М. Лермонтова «Маскарад».

В концерте примет участие Гайк Казазян (скрипка) – победитель и лауреат многих международных конкурсов, среди которых конкурс имени П.И. Чайковского в Москве, конкурс имени Г. Венявского в Познани, имени Жака Тибо и Маргариты Лонг в Париже, имени Паганини в Москве. Награжден золотой медалью и призом зрительских симпатий на конкурсах скрипачей в Швейцарии и в Тонгёнге (Южная Корея).
