Opera Craiova will present two one-act operas by Giacomo Puccini, part of his triptych - the tragic "The Mantle", the lyrical "Sister Angelica" and the comic "Gianni Schicchi", which are considered the highest achievement in his work. "The Mantle" and "Gianni Schicchi" will be conducted by Gianna Frata - pianist, conductor, composer and director, holder of the title Knight of the Italian Republic (2009) for his international achievements.

Director Chris Catena (Christian Francesconi) is a multi-genre artist, director, artistic director and vice president of IUMA Management Worldwide. In 2019, he staged the musical "West Side Story" at the Varna Opera, which is still a huge success.

One Garabedyan is of Armenian descent, born in America. A mezzo-soprano with an enviable career, she is also the founder of the California Opera Association, opera director and professor of vocal skills at several American universities - the American University, the California State University, Fresno, the University of Northern Illinois and the University of San Francisco.
