"Giuditta", Franz Lehar's last operetta, experienced a triumphant premiere at the Vienna State Opera. In Mörbisch Mehrzad Montazeri follows in the footsteps of Richard Tauber as "Octavio", Natalia Ushakova sings the title role. "Giuditta" is a play about love, a sense of duty and farewell, an operetta with tragic elements and passionate characters, a "musical comedy" that pulls you along and doesn't end so funny.
