Das Dettinger Te Deum (HWV 283) ist die letzte von Händels fünf „Te Deum“-Kompositionen. Händels geistliches Chorwerk für einen Friedens- und Dank-Gottesdienst im Jahr 1743 anlässlich des Sieges des britischen Militärs über die französischen Truppen in der Schlacht bei Dettingen werden das Karlsruher Barockorchester und der CoroPiccolo Karlsruhe unter der Leitung von Christian-Markus Raiser das ebenso klangmächtige „böhmische" Te Deum von Händels tschechischen Zeitgenossen Jan Dismas Zelenka gegenüberstellen.

The Dettinger Te Deum (HWV 283) is the last of Handel's five Te Deum compositions. Handel's sacred choral work for a peace and thanksgiving service in 1743 on the occasion of the British military's victory over the French troops in the Battle of Dettingen, the Karlsruhe Baroque Orchestra and the CoroPiccolo Karlsruhe, conducted by Christian-Markus Raiser, will perform the equally powerful "Bohemian Contrasting the Te Deum by Handel's Czech contemporaries Jan Dismas Zelenka.
