Raised as Hansel Schmidt in East Berlin, the later rock icon Hedwig undergoes a sex reassignment operation shortly before the fall of the Berlin Wall, which fails. The trans* non-binary performance artist Lili Alexander leads through this queer rock show full of glitter, melancholy and empowerment and talks about the situation of trans* people, also in Mecklenburg.
