evin M. Geraldi leads the Illinois Wind Symphony in their first performance of the 2023–24 academic year, featuring the world premiere of Apricity by Hilary Purrington. William Moersch, acclaimed Professor of Percussion in the U of I School of Music, performs as soloist on the Concerto for Marimba by Christopher Theofanidis.
