"In the white horse on the Wolfgangsee, happiness is just around the corner" - but before everyone has found their own, things get turbulent! With the arrival of numerous vacationers, the love carousel also gets going. The waiter Leopold is madly but hopelessly in love with Josepha, the landlady of the hotel "Imweißen Rössl". She, on the other hand, raves about the loyal regular Dr. settler, for whom she always reserves the best room. In that year, however, the deeply offended Leopold quartered the gruff Berlin manufacturer Giesecke and his daughter Ottilie there. He quickly finds a new source of excitement, because Sigismund Sülzheimer, his opponent's son, appears on the scene. The stingy Professor Hinzelmann and his daughter Klarchen complete the holiday group and the couples find each other with sometimes shy, sometimes daring flirting maneuvers in the outdoor pool or on the mountain top. Even Leopold manages to win the heart of his proud beloved in the end. Happy ending in the Salzkammergut!

Alternating between Viennese humor, alpine joie de vivre and Berlin cheekiness, the Weisses Rössl invites you to laugh heartily as well as to think. With a lot of swing, well-known melodies and touching dialogue, Ralph Benatzky's popular revue operetta is entertaining fun for the whole family! Even if the Corona-compliant 90-minute version has to do without the crowds of tourists represented by the choir, a brightly colored, wonderfully kitschy and catchy operetta evening is guaranteed.
