Joshua Bell is the soloist in a musical project combining movements written by five of today’s leading composers: Jake Heggie, Jennifer Higdon, Edgar Meyer, Jessie Montgomery, and Kevin Puts. The concert concludes with Music Director Jaap van Zweden conducting Copland’s uplifting Third Symphony, the finale of which includes the famous Fanfare for the Common Man.
