West Bay Opera's very first performance ever, 
on November 16, 1956,
included the entire third act of La bohème, as well as excerpts from other operas. Since then, WBO has staged this perennial Puccini favorite eight times.
This time, we've moved the action to San Francisco in contemporary times, to highlight the plight of artists dealing with displacement and even homelessness, while trying to survive in America's richest and most expensive city.
