La Sinfonica allo Studio: Concert

As from this season, the Verdi Orchestra has chosen to use its original name, with which it was founded in 1993: Symphonic Orchestra of Milan. It is a name that encapsulates and highlights its meaning, and which, as stressed by Ruben Jais, Director General and Artistic Director, “presents to the world what we are and what we do better than any other name”.
The three events at the Teatro Studio Melato are dedicated to contemporary music, focusing on innovation and modernity. However, as the history of music has demonstrated, in order to explore the future, we need to also learn to understand our past and our present, and this is why the programme also includes works by Franz Jospeh Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven and Charles Ives alongside contemporary composers.
The second concert features music by Dario Maggi, Franz Joseph Haydn and Vittorio Zago.

A partire da questa stagione, laVerdi sceglie di tornare al nome delle origini, quello con cui venne fondata nel 1993: Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano. Un nome che racchiude ed esplicita il suo significato e che, come sottolinea Ruben Jais, Direttore Generale e Artistico, «meglio di ogni altro può raccontare al mondo ciò che siamo e facciamo».
I tre appuntamenti al Teatro Studio Melato sono dedicati alla musica del nostro tempo, per lanciare uno sguardo all’innovazione e all’attualità. Come ci ha insegnato la Storia della musica, per conoscere il futuro dobbiamo, però, anche imparare a comprendere il nostro passato e il nostro presente, ed è così che, a fianco di lavori di compositori contemporanei, compaiono in programma brani di musicisti come Franz Joseph Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven e Charles Ives.
Il secondo concerto vede protagoniste le musiche di Dario Maggi, Franz Joseph Haydn e Vittorio Zago.
