La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi in the wonderful inaugural production of the 2019 Festival, created by Franco Zeffirelli , his  ultimate  masterpiece after sixty years of study on the most  loved and represented opera in the world with the greatest performers of the twentieth century. The late maestro took care of the direction and sets, with costumes by Maurizio Millenotti.
