The new production of the opera evergreen was prepared by the SND Opera in a stellar solo cast under the baton of conductor Robert Jindra and in the attractive stage concept of the Italian team under the direction of director Robert Catalan. Alexander Dumas Jr.'s novel The Lady with the Camellias struck Giuseppe Verdi hard, who always looked for models with dramatic plots and interesting characters for his operas.
