La traviata

When we produce an opera at the Grand Opera House in Belfast, we invite 600 members of youth and community groups and charities to come and see the dress rehearsal free as part of our Outreach Week activities. For most of the audience it is their first time at the opera and we asked them afterwards what they had thought of the experience. Outreach Week features workshops, free concerts, 'Come and Sing' events, talks by the Director and the free dress rehearsal: it is made possible by funding from the Garfield Weston Foundation and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.,
