1st part - This production in 2 parts, offers a contemporary resonance to a seminal work of the 20th century. A “dialogue” between Poulenc and the composer Thierry Escaich.

In 1958, two years after the Dialogues des Carmélites, Poulenc composed La Voix humaine, a work in one act and for a single female character, alone and faced with the disarray of a breakup. Composer with many facets and talents, with a rich orchestral writing nourished by resonances with the sacred, Thierry Escaich imposed himself here to compose a mirror piece to that of Poulenc. The challenge is to imagine the continuation of Poulenc's monologue in a renewed dialogue between Her and Him. After the words of Cocteau, those of Olivier Py,  with a modern verb, will offer a vision that is as human as it is humanist to the dialogue of the couple.
It is indeed dialogue that is in question here, that of two beings on the verge of rupture, that of words and that of two sensitive and profoundly modern musicians.
