Leonce and Lena are a reverse story of Romeo and Juliet, where parents want to harass their children rather than separate them. Children protest, go into the world, meet, and fall in love with each other unknown. Büchner’s work is considered a harbinger of the absurd because it preceded literary public taste in creating an incredibly modern, grotesque world in it. The protagonist is empty, his father is degenerate, the people are corrupt, and people are unable to think. Enriched with lyrics, rap, spoken words and a few twists, Péter Závada makes Leonce and Lena present to make the idea of ​​the original work understandable and more enjoyable for today's viewers. “Do nothing, you are the beginning of all sin! Nothing is sacred to people in their boredom! They don't even study, they mutter prayers, they even have a picture to love, dirt is nothing! But they're getting married, too, and they're going to have children. That's how they get bored in their boredom. But in the meantime, everyone has a caring and bamboo image, just no shot at why? ” For the premiere, Gábor Subicz wrote music based on today's musical trends, which is played with symphonic instruments.
