The popular Slovak actor Martin Vanek is also an avid connoisseur of classical music and opera. He convinced us of this many times, when he acquainted the children in the perspective of the SND Opera with the secrets of opera stories, but also with how the opera theater works. We remember his "children's version" of Donizetti's The Drink of Love , but also his performance On the Magic Flute and Other Spells - or the Rossini opera salvation called Figaro sem, Figaro tam , which we still have in our repertoire. Last season, this great actor premiered a story with an explanation for children about Janík and Marienka (as portrayed by Bedřich Smetana in The Bartered Bride) - and recently introduced a walk through world-famous operas called From Opera to Opera .
