Lucie Horsch plays recorder, piano and sings in this special concert centered around strong women. Together with the National Women's Youth Choir and LUDWIG, she performs inspiring music in which the woman as composer, musician and inspiration is the artistic centerpiece.

The world can no longer ignore recorder player Lucie Horsch. Once started as a child prodigy, she won the Dutch Music Prize in 2020, was an ECHO Rising Star in 2021/2022, and currently holds the prestigious Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship. You name it, she knows how to get it out of her collection of recorders: early music, but also modern classical, jazz, pop, folk music and much more. She is also a master of improvisation and knows how to expand the repertoire for recorder with her arrangements. This program takes place around her and has as its theme strong women.
Because la musica, in itself a feminine concept, is home to a lot of strong women. They are on the program tonight: women who compose and women who make music, but also women who gave rise to many unprecedentedly beautiful compositions. Lucie Horsch is surrounded in this concert by strong women like the National Women's Youth Choir, part of the National Choirs led by Wilma ten Wolde. And she also displays more musical talents than just recorder. She is a professionally trained pianist and singer; as a child, she was even a member of the National Choirs' children's choir for seven years. Together with LUDWIG, it will be an inspiring evening.

Lucie Horsch speelt blokfluit, piano en zingt in dit speciale concert rondom sterke vrouwen. Samen met het Nationaal Vrouwen Jeugdkoor en LUDWIG brengt zij inspirerende muziek waarin de vrouw als componist, muzikant en inspiratiebron het artistieke middelpunt is.

La musica
De wereld kan niet meer om blokfluitiste Lucie Horsch heen. Ooit begonnen als wonderkind won ze in 2020 de Nederlandse Muziekprijs, was ze in 2021/2022 ECHO Rising Star, en is momenteel in het bezit van de prestigieuze Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship. Je kunt het zo gek niet bedenken of ze weet het uit haar verzameling blokfluiten te halen: oude muziek, maar ook modern klassiek, jazz, pop, volksmuziek en nog veel meer. Daarnaast is ze een meester in improviseren en weet met haar arrangementen het repertoire voor blokfluit stevig uit te breiden. Dit programma speelt zich rondom haar af en heeft als thema sterke vrouwen.
Want la musica, op zich al een vrouwelijk begrip, herbergt heel wat sterke vrouwen. Ze staan vanavond op het programma: vrouwen die componeren en vrouwen die musiceren, maar ook vrouwen die aanleiding waren voor veel ongekend mooie composities. Lucie Horsch laat zich in dit concert omringen door sterke vrouwen als het Nationaal Vrouwen Jeugdkoor, onderdeel van de Nationale Koren onder leiding van Wilma ten Wolde. En ook toont ze meer muzikale talenten dan blokfluit alleen. Ze is professioneel opgeleid pianist en zangeres; als kind was ze zelfs zeven jaar lid van het kinderkoor van de Nationale Koren. Samen met LUDWIG wordt het een inspirerende avond.
