Mozart / Beethoven / Holloway: Světová Premiéra by Holloway, R., Beethoven, Mozart, De (2021/2021), Regente Ondřej Vrabec

As one of the few string quartets in the Czech Republic, the Pavel Bořkovec Quartet is systematically dedicated to presenting modern classical music. Now he is coming to present, together with the phenomenal first horn of the Czech Philharmonic Vrabec, the world premiere of the quintet of the English composer Holloway balancing between romanticism and modernism. There will also be an arrangement of Beethoven's sonata from 1800 inspired by the Czech horn virtuoso Jan V. Stich-Punt, or the later Quartet No. 11, which, however, stylistically goes far beyond the boundaries of its time. The program will end with Mozart's "tender miniature horn concerto".
