During the ongoing renovation of the large stage as part of the Opera on tour, giuseppe Verdi's "Nabucco" will be performed as a guest on the stage of the Bytom Cultural Center on 18 March. The Bytom audience will be able to hear the beautiful song "Va pensiero", which has become the unofficial anthem of Italy and even today is often encore. Some say that for this one piece you can not leave any performance. With thunderous applause, the audience rewards the overture and most of the melodies - both choral
and aria or duets.

In the Silesian Opera, this performance occupies an honorable position; is one of the leading operas in her repertoire. In Poland, the honor of discovering "Nabucca" fell to the Silesian Opera. It has been exhibited here since the day of its premiere in 1983 and for 23 years it has not gone down even for one season from the poster! Based on biblical accounts, the history of the Jewish people in the Babylonian captivity has become one of the most famous and popular in the history of the genre. This youthful work of Verdi, stunning with the panache of collective scenes and captivating arias, brought him fame and placed him among the most outstanding composers in the history of classical music. For the first time on the stage of the Bytom theater "Nabucco" was staged in 1983. The new stage production of Verdi's opera (premiered in May 2007) is a unique performance directed by Laco Adamik and a must-read for all lovers of opera art!

Podczas trwającego remontu dużej sceny w ramach Opera on tour 18 marca gościnnie na scenie Bytomskiego Centrum Kultury wystawiona będzie dzieło Giuseppe Verdiego „Nabucco”. Bytomska publiczność będzie mogła usłyszeć przepiękną pieśń „Va pensiero”, która stała się nieoficjalnym hymnem Włoch i nawet dziś jest często bisowana. Niektórzy twierdzą, że dla tego jednego utworu nie można opuścić żadnego przedstawienia. Gromkimi brawami publiczność nagradza uwerturę oraz większość melodii - zarówno chóralnych, jak
i arii czy duetów.

W Operze Śląskiej spektakl ten zajmuje pozycję zaszczytną; jest jedną z wiodących oper w jej repertuarze. W Polsce zaszczyt odkrycia „Nabucca" przypadł właśnie Operze Śląskiej. To tutaj było ono wystawiane od dnia premiery z 1983 roku i przez 23 lata nie schodziło nawet na jeden sezon z afisza! Oparta na przekazach biblijnych historia  dziejów narodu żydowskiego w niewoli babilońskiej, stała się jedną z najbardziej znanych i popularnych w historii gatunku. To młodzieńcze dzieło Verdiego oszałamiające rozmachem scen zbiorowych i porywających arii przyniosło mu sławę i postawiło w gronie najwybitniejszych kompozytorów  w historii muzyki klasycznej. Po raz pierwszy na scenie bytomskiego teatru "Nabucco" wystawiono w 1983 r. Nowa sceniczna realizacja opery Verdiego (premiera miała miejsce w maju 2007 r.) to wyjątkowy spektakl w reżyserii Laco Adamika i obowiązkowa „lektura muzyczna" dla wszystkich miłośników sztuki operowej!
