NABUCCO by Giuseppe Verdi DIRECTOR Michele Mariotti DIRECTOR Yoshi Oida Opera in four parts to a libretto by Temistocle Solera, Nabucco is considered the most Risorgimento opera by the composer from Busseto. The dry direction of Yoshi Oida, a Japanese director who trained with Peter Brook, for whom he was also an interpreter, projects the story into a timeless space, stylizing the sets and costumes, in an elegant and almost metaphysical rarefaction. With Nabucco, the principal conductor Michele Mariotti conducts his second title of the 2013 season on the podium of the Orchestra and Choir of the Comunale, continuing his research work on the Verdi repertoire.
