History
In Germany the XVIII th century, Count Heinrich is in love with Eva pure. But in the grip of a family curse, he fears giving in to murderous madness if he gives in to his feelings. Especially since this neurotic love arouses the jealousy of Peter, Eva's suitor, and the hostility of the innkeeper Christobald. A rivalry that will end in the flames of Heinrich Castle.
 

Schreker the Forsaken
A major musical figure of the Weimar Republic, Schreker was a staple of his time. Author of a work marked by morbidity, self-destruction and sexuality which owes a lot to Wagner and Strauss and shines through the richness of his musical palette, Schreker has had immense success with Der ferne Klang  or Die Gezeichneten ( The Stigmatized ) . But Irrelohe , created in 1924, the year Hitler was imprisoned for his failed coup, was the swan song of the then eminent director of the Berlin Music College. Once the Nazis in power he becomes an outcast, symbol of "degenerate music" ( Entartete Musik) and decadent internationalism, which is also "wrong" to be Jewish. He is in fact an emblematic avant-garde of Jugendstil , which prefigures, with 30 years in advance, the Hollywood music of the 50s. Specialist of the German composers of the 20s and 30s and of Entartete Musik , the director David Bösch offers this unjustly condemned genius of the German spirit and his Irrelohe - which could be translated by "mad flame" - a resurrection commensurate with his power.
