Opera for Peace ist ein weltweites Netzwerk für Nachwuchsförderung, das für eine inklusive und kreative Zukunft der Oper arbeitet. Die Organisation pflegt weltweit Kooperationen mit Opern- und Konzerthäusern und beteiligt sich an hochkarätigen Projekten und Festivals. Die Stadt Waiblingen ist seit 2020 fester Kooperationspartner. Dieses Konzert ist der Auftakt einer neuen Konzertreihe, in der sich die Stuttgarter Philharmoniker als dritter Partner einbringen. Arien und Orchesterwerke u.a. von Mozart, Verdi und Tschaikowsky bilden das Programm des Abends.

Zu hören sein wird der Bariton Nikolai Zemlianskikh, ein Emerging Artist von Opera for Peace, der schon bei den Salzburger Festspielen auftrat und auch bei der irischen Wexford Festival Opera 2022 dabei sein wird.

Olivier Tardy wird den Klangkörper dirigieren. Er stand bereits am Pult vieler renommierter Orchester. Wichtig ist ihm sein Engagement für die Jugendarbeit. Für die CD-Einspielung mit Bläserkonzerten von Henri Tomasi bekam er die Höchstbewertung des Fachmagazins Diapason.

Opera for Peace is a worldwide network for the advancement of young people working for an inclusive and creative future of opera. The organization maintains partnerships with opera houses and concert halls worldwide and takes part in top-class projects and festivals. The city of Waiblingen has been a permanent cooperation partner since 2020. This concert is the start of a new series of concerts in which the Stuttgart Philharmonic is the third partner. Arias and orchestral works by Mozart, Verdi and Tchaikovsky, among others, make up the program for the evening.

Baritone Nikolai Zemlianskikh, an emerging artist from Opera for Peace, who has already performed at the Salzburg Festival and will also be performing at Ireland's Wexford Festival Opera in 2022, will be heard.

Olivier Tardy will conduct the orchestra. He has already conducted many renowned orchestras. His commitment to youth work is important to him. For the CD recording with wind concertos by Henri Tomasi, he received the highest rating from the specialist magazine Diapason.
