The main library

The city buzzes with the most beautiful song that flows from the Arcade by the Main Library.

The arcade, with its great acoustics and bustling life, is an obvious place for a pop-up concert along Aalborg's pedestrian streets, and the two opera singers Jens Olav Heckmann and Hedvig Stenstedt will entertain with beautiful opera singing.

After Opera i Arkaden, you can join the performing singers and wander on to Louise Plads, where the next concerts in the festival program will unfold.

Swedish Hedvig Stenstedt is a mezzo-soprano, previously educated at the Vadstena Singing and Piano Academy in Sweden and now studying at the Royal Danish Music Conservatory in Copenhagen.

Our local Jens Olav Heckmann is a lyric tenor and, among other things, graduated from the Jutland Conservatory of Music and has worked in the DR Concert Choir for several years.
The two singers will be joined by David Strong, who is one of the country's most versatile pianists. Strong graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester in 1988.

Byen summer med den skønneste sang, der strømmer fra Arkaden ved Hovedbiblioteket.

Arkaden er med sin flotte akustik og myldrende liv et oplagt sted for en pop up-koncert langs Aalborgs gågader, og de to operasangere Jens Olav Heckmann og Hedvig Stenstedt vil underholde med smuk operasang.

Efter Opera i Arkaden kan man slå følgeskab med de optrædende sangere og vandre videre til Louise Plads, hvor de næste koncerter i festivalprogrammet vil folde sig ud.

Svenske Hedvig Stenstedt er mezzosopran, tidligere uddannet ved Vadstena Sång- och Pianoakademi i Sverige og studerer nu på Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium i København.

Vores lokale Jens Olav Heckmann er lyrisk tenor og blandt andet uddannet fra Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium og har i flere år arbejdet i DR KoncertKoret.
De to sangere får selskab af David Strong, der er en af landets mest alsidige pianister. Strong er uddannet ved Royal Northern College of Music i Manchester i 1988.
