Score praised by Berlioz, archetype of aesthetic contestation in the Italian "prima la musica", Orpheus and Eurydice testifies to a musical writing at the service of the drama, with a craftsman's care given to the vocal lines of both the soloists and choirs, without gratuitous effect, without ostentation, but with an intense depth, an infinite poetry. The young voices of
the Atelier Lyrique of the Opéra National de Paris will bring the heroes of Gluck's masterpiece to life
in a staging by Dominique Pitoiset.

Partition louée par Berlioz, archétype de la contestation esthétique au « prima la musica » à l’italienne, Orphée et Eurydice témoigne d’une écriture musicale au service du drame, avec un soin  d’orfèvre apporté aux lignes de chant tant des solistes que des choeurs, sans effet gratuit, sans ostentation, mais avec une intense profondeur, une infinie poésie. Ce sont les jeunes voix de
l’Atelier Lyrique de l’Opéra National de Paris qui feront vivre les héros du chef-d’oeuvre de Gluck
dans une mise en scène de Dominique Pitoiset.
