Richard Wagners musikalisches Bühnenwerk Parsifal kommt Ostern 2023 als Koproduktion von Pamy Mediaproductions und Goetheanum auf dessen Bühne.

Die Inszenierung verbindet Oper und Eurythmie.

Nicht selten wird das Goetheanum als Gralsburg bezeichnet, jetzt wird es zu einer solchen. Parsifal, den letzten europäischen Mythos, schließt Richard Wagner für die Neuzeit auf – ein freies Projektteam bringt dieses Bühnenweihfestspiel ans Goetheanum bei Basel:

Dazu kommen Jasmin Solfaghari (Opernregie) mit Walter Schütze (Bühnen- und Kostümbild) und Stefan Hasler (Eurythmieregie) mit Klaus Suppan (Lichtdesign) zusammen.

Richard Wagners musikalischen Brückenschlag vom Hier und Jetzt in transzendente innere Welten macht der Dirigent Roland Fister mit der Philharmonie Baden-Baden hörbar und machen 29 Eurythmistinnen und Eurythmisten aus dem Goetheanum-Eurythmie-Ensemble und dem Else-Klink-Ensemble Stuttgart sichtbar. In Wagnerscher Größe begegnen sich Opernkunst und Eurythmie: eine die Musik auslotende Bühnensprache von Jasmin Solfaghari und die fluide Bewegung der Eurythmie von Stefan Hasler.

Wo, wenn nicht in Parsifal, wo sich alles um Begegnung dreht, um die in Erstarrung gefangenen Gralshüter zu befreien, das Tor zu Entwicklung und Erlösung aufzustoßen, wäre solch ein Crossover der Kunstformen ein interessantes Mittel? «Durch Mitleid wissend» ist das Zauberwort, mit dem Parsifal nach langem Weg des Irrens die Wunde heilt.

Gral und Speer kommen wieder zusammen, Kopf und Herz werden eins.

Was mit der Inszenierung von Parsifal an Ostern 2023 am Goetheanum geschieht, ist künstlerisches Neuland. Das Gemeinschaftswerk «unerschrocken auf die Beine zu stellen», dazu sei, so Jasmin Solfaghari und Stefan Hasler, die Figur des Parsifal die beste Inspiration.

Dass die Produktion Wirklichkeit wird, ist der Initiative und dem Engagement von Alexander von Glenck zu verdanken.

Richard Wagner's musical stage work Parsifal will be on the stage in Easter 2023 as a co-production of Pamy Mediaproductions and the Goetheanum.

The Goetheanum is often referred to as the Grail Castle, and now it is becoming one. Parsifal, the last European myth, Richard Wagner unlocks for modern times - a free project team brings this stage consecration festival play to the Goetheanum near Basel:

In addition, Jasmin Solfaghari (opera direction) will work with Walter Schütze (stage and costume design) and Stefan Hasler (eurythmy direction) with Klaus Suppan (lighting design).

Conductor Roland Fister and the Baden-Baden Philharmonic make Richard Wagner's musical bridge-building from the here and now into transcendent inner worlds audible, and 29 eurythmists from the Goetheanum-Eurythmy-Ensemble and the Else-Klink-Ensemble Stuttgart make it visible. The art of opera and eurythmy meet in Wagnerian grandeur: Jasmin Solfaghari's stage language exploring the music and the fluid movement of Stefan Hasler's eurythmy.

Where, if not in Parsifal, where everything revolves around encounter, to free the grail keepers trapped in torpor, to open the door to development and salvation, would such a crossover of art forms be an interesting means? “Knowing through compassion” is the magic word with which Parsifal heals the wound after a long journey of error.

Grail and spear come together again, head and heart become one.

What is happening with the staging of Parsifal at Easter 2023 at the Goetheanum is new artistic territory. According to Jasmin Solfaghari and Stefan Hasler, the character of Parsifal is the best inspiration for the joint effort "to get going without fear".

Thanks to Alexander von Glenck's initiative and commitment, the production became a reality.
