Après avoir dirigé l’Orchestre du Festival en 2019, le chef allemand Reinhard Goebel revient pour son édition 2023, accompagné par la jeune pianiste Schaghajegh Nosrati dans un concert qui fera résonner la musique de la dynastie Bach.

Le Süddeutsche Zeitung le considère comme une « icône de la musique ancienne » et le New York Times l'applaudit comme une « lumière dans un océan de médiocrité ». Reinhard Goebel est spécialisé dans le répertoire des XVIIe, XVIIIe et début du XIXe siècles. En tant qu'explicateur des pratiques d'interprétation d'époque pour les ensembles de musique ancienne et les orchestres modernes, et en tant que source inépuisable de connaissances sur les joyaux du répertoire, il est un spécialiste de renommée mondiale.

Schaghajegh Nosrati s'est fait connaître comme une musicienne extrêmement polyvalente; si elle a pu s'établir comme pianiste de concert dès ses premières années, c'est grâce à son excellente réputation en tant qu'interprète de la musique de Bach. Elle s'est imposée sur la scène internationale en 2014 en remportant le Concours international Bach de Leipzig, notamment grâce à sa collaboration musicale croissante avec Sir András Schiff, qui a loué « l'étonnante clarté, la pureté et la maturité » de ses interprétations de Bach, ainsi que la compréhension musicale qui y est associée.
