Two requiems for the Orchestra and the Choirs: the forty years of the Orchestra are the occasion for a striking journey through the memory of the 19th and 20th centuries. The vast theater of human and religious passions imagined by Verdi in 1874 is one of the absolute masterpieces of the sacred repertoire.
Richard Brunel and Daniele Rustioni add another song, that of Terezin, this concentration camp where an artistic life could take place in extreme and fragile conditions. In Terezin's Requiem, Josef Bor recounts the courage deployed by the prisoners to stage Verdi's work in 1943, preserving in horror the song of the Italian musician.

Deux requiems pour l’Orchestre et les Choeurs : les quarante ans de l’Orchestre sont l’occasion d’une traversée saisissante dans la mémoire des XIX et XXe siècles. Le vaste théâtre des passions humaines et religieuses imaginé par Verdi en 1874 est l’un des chefs d’oeuvre absolus du répertoire sacré.
Richard Brunel et Daniele Rustioni lui adjoignent un autre chant, celui de Terezin, ce camp de concentration où une vie artistique put avoir lieu dans des conditions extrêmes autant que fragiles. Dans le Requiem de Terezin, Josef Bor raconte le courage déployé par les détenus pour monter l’oeuvre de Verdi en 1943, préservant dans l’horreur le chant du musicien italien.
