Every year, Adam Fischer honors a person or an organization that is particularly committed to human rights with the Tonhalle Human Rights Award - a matter close to the heart of the conductor, who has been passionately committed to freedom and human rights for years and is active in various human rights organizations is. The award ceremony takes place as part of a festive concert, the program of which this year is Mozart's legendary last masterpiece.

Jedes Jahr zeichnet Adam Fischer eine Person oder eine Organisation, die sich in besonderem Maße für die Menschenrechte einsetzt, mit dem Menschenrechtspreis der Tonhalle aus – eine Herzensangelegenheit für den Dirigenten, der sich selbst seit Jahren leidenschaftlich für Freiheit und Menschenrechte engagiert und in verschiedenen Menschenrechtsorganisationen aktiv ist. Die Verleihung findet im Rahmen eines festlichen Konzerts statt, auf dessen Programm in diesem Jahr Mozarts mythenumranktes letztes Meisterwerk steht.
