Rigoletto is an opera that reigns on world stages even after 164 years since its first performance. No wonder - the story, which was created on the theme of Victor Hugo's drama The King has funtogether with the music of Giuseppe Verdi, he created an essence that appeals to the audience to this day. The tragic story of the court clown Rigoletto and his beautiful daughter Gilde, who succumbs to the seduction of his fleeting lord, the Duke of Mantua, is at the same time a critique of society, has tense passions and lyrical personal stories. Although the work's literary masterpiece originated in the last century, it still copies the current theme of human anger, egocentrism and negative emotions. Rigletto is faced with a dilemma: should he easily survive in a corrupt society with "eyes closed" or keep a "clean shield" and make a cruel sacrifice? Everyone is sometimes faced with "Sophie's Choice" in life, and everyone tries to come to terms with it on their own - Opera Rigoletto sets up a mirror for us and asks questions about the meaning of human existence.
