Meet the Kleio Quartet – first prize winners at last year’s prestigious Carl Nielson International Quartet Competition – as they launch the Ryedale Festival’s 2024 Season with a programme full of joy.

Haydn brings together gratitude, good humour and a graveyard scene in one of his most famous quartets. Jazz meets chamber music as Wynton Marsalis remembers his childhood in New Orleans. And Dvořák celebrates a homecoming in music that is both playful and profound.

After the concert, Artistic Director Christopher Glynn will introduce the programme for the 2024 Summer Festival. The launch concert programme and information on booking can be found below.
