The famous musical "School of Rock" will be performed this year for the national premiere at the Children's Comic Opera.  "School of Rock" is a theatrical adaptation of the 2003 film of the same name. Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber borrowed some melodic lines from the film's soundtrack, but his unmistakable style is felt in all the songs, similar to his famous ones: "Sunset Boulevard", "Cats", "Phantom of the Opera" or "Love Never Dies" (continuation of the story of "Phantom of the Opera"). Live music, with band and choir, plus talented soloists from OCC or collaborators chosen from a casting of over 200 participants. You will meet talented, charming, vulnerable and dreamy children who will melt the hearts of viewers. In addition to the original songs from the film "School of Rock", the composer added 14 new songs, all with strong rock influences. Among those who seem to have inspired the music are bands like Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith…

Celebrul musical „School of Rock” va fi realizat anul acesta în premieră națională la Opera Comică pentru Copii.  „School of Rock” este o transpunere în teatru a peliculei cu același nume din anul 2003. Compozitorul Andrew Lloyd Webber a împrumutat câteva linii melodice din coloana sonoră a filmului, dar stilul său inconfundabil se simte în toate songurile, asemănătoare celor din celebrele sale: „Sunset Boulevard”, „Cats”, „Fantoma de la operă” sau „Dragostea nu moare niciodată” (continuare a poveștii din „Fantoma de la operă”). Muzică live, cu band și cor, plus soliști talentați de la OCC sau colaboratori aleși în urma unui casting cu peste 200 de participanți. Veți întâlni copii talentați, fermecători, vulnerabili și visători care vor topi inimile spectatorilor. Pe lângă melodiile originale din filmul „School of Rock”, compozitorul a adăugat alte 14 songuri noi, toate cu puternice influențe rock.
