Due to the current regulations, our concerts are only possible in front of almost 150 people. We are therefore pleased to be able to make the ensemble evening on June 19th available digitally to a large audience as a »flashback«. In two special song cycles, the members of the ensemble devote themselves to the feeling of all feelings: love. Schumann's Frauenliebe und Leben for one voice and piano from 1840 and the Liebeslieder-Waltz by Johannes Brahms, composed around thirty years later - written for four voices and piano four hands - illuminate their most diverse facets. Certainly, the composer's own love life, which was not just »sunshine and sweetness«, also resonates in both works...
