With the beginning of the 2022/23 season, the second generation of excellent young singers will start their two-year training program in the opera studio of the Vienna State Opera. Twelve young artists and two pianists were selected from around 750 applicants to grow into the opera business as studio members, to learn from great artists and to gain their first experiences on the stage of the largest repertoire house in the world. As part of the first studio concert, the new members of the opera studio will introduce themselves to the Viennese audience.
