The Orchestre de Paris invites you to discover the most popular American musician of the twentieth century. Pianist, composer, conductor… Leonard Bernstein excelled at all three at once. He was also a sort of born ferryman, passionate about sharing his love for music with the next generation. Accompanied by four young singers, the Orchestre de Paris pays him the most beautiful of tributes by introducing the children of today to the best selections from his musical comedies from Candide to West Side Story. Fasten your seat belts, we’re about to take off!

L’Orchestre de Paris vous invite à la découverte du musicien américain le plus populaire du XXe siècle : pianiste, compositeur, chef d’orchestre... Leonard Bernstein fut tout cela à la fois, avec génie ! Mais il fut aussi un « passeur » né, s’employant avec passion à transmettre son amour de la musique aux plus jeunes. L’Orchestre de Paris, accompagné de quatre jeunes chanteurs, lui rend le plus bel hommage qui soit, en faisant découvrir aux enfants d’aujourd’hui les grandes pages de ses comédies musicales, de Candide à West Side Story : attachez vos ceintures, embarquement immédiat !
