【661th Subscription Concert】 Mo. Michiyoshi Inoue announced that he would retire in 2024, and this concert would be the very last with maestro. Inoue has being collaborating with dancers and worked on lighting effects during the concerts to bring the most effective direction on the stage. In this concert, he has chosen “Nomos gamma,” the work by Greek architect　Xenakis, and is an extraordinary piece designating the orchestra to locate themselves around the conductor. The first half of the concert, he introduces two works by Takemitsu.
For this concert, we plan to have an intermission of 30 minutes.
