" Bayadera" by  Imre Kalman is a touching and at the same time passionate love story of Indian Prince Rajima and Parisian variety artist Odette Darimond.

Through the prism of the relationship between two lovers, the viewer has the opportunity to get acquainted with the history of the most romantic country of all times and eras. After all, all the events take place in Paris in the early twentieth century. The theme of adherence to traditional values ​​acquires additional emotional color due to the inner drama of the protagonist of the play. Yes, Prince Rajami, as heir to the throne, has no right to marry a foreigner.

The strong feelings of a lover make him think about whether the power is worth losing love? Is love worth leaving the throne? What will Rajami choose? But will Odette Darimond accept his victim?
