Tapiola Sinfonietta avaa syyskautensa 2024 suureen tyyliin. Yhdistetyin voimin Sinfonietta, Sinfonia Lahti ja komeaa kansainvälistä uraa tekevä Dalia Stasevska tulkitsevat päätösnumeronaan Mahlerin ensimmäisen sinfonian, josta kevätkaudella kuultiin kamariversio. Nyt ”Titaani”-lisänimeä kantava teos kajahtaa kaikessa loistossaan ja suuren orkesterin väreissä. Vähintään yhtä kiinnostava on islantilaissäveltäjä Anna Thorvaldsdottirin vuonna 2018 säveltämä ja paljon huomiota herättänyt AION, jonka taustana on ajan moniulotteisuus ja ihmisen muuttuva paikka siinä. Lopputuloksena on hätkähdyttävä aikaa ja tilaa dramaattisesti kuvastava ja sinfonisesti jäsentyvä teos.

Tapiola Sinfonietta opens its 2024 autumn season in style. Together, Sinfonietta, Sinfonia Lahti and Dalia Stasevska, who has a handsome international career, will interpret Mahler's first symphony, the chamber version of which was heard in the spring season, as the closing number. The work, now nicknamed "Titaani", echoes in all its splendor and in the colors of a large orchestra. At least as interesting is AION, composed by the Icelandic composer Anna Thorvaldsdottir in 2018 and attracting a lot of attention, whose background is the multidimensionality of time and the changing place of man in it. The end result is a startling work that dramatically reflects time and space and is symphonically structured.
