Magical evening with musical procession, ball on the main stage and tasty food and drink.

We celebrate Gothenburg's 400th anniversary with gems from all the musicals staged at Gothenburg Opera over the years: a medley with 56 excerpts from all 26 musicals played on our big stage from the opening until today. 

The humorous Duratrion - musical artists Tobias Ahlsell , David Lundqvist and Anders Wängdahl - guides through the magnificent musical procession. The three are also responsible for the song, together with the musical artists Julia Carlström , Karin Mårtenson Ghods and Micaela Sjöstedt .
After the concert, the main stage is transformed into a ballroom. There, Gothenburg Opera's Wienerkapell first invites you to dance and then hands over the baton to the Stardust Big Swing Band with Erik Gullbransson and the Smoke Rings Sisters. In the eddies of the dance, tailcoats, tuxedos, full-length silk dresses, black cases and kilts can be seen - dress in what you think is beautiful!

You choose whether you want to top off the evening with something good, before or after the concert. The restaurant , the Opera bar and the cafes have different menus. Most food options must be pre-booked, and we recommend you do so well in advance.

In connection with the Twelfth Day Concert with Ball , dance courses are also offered where you can learn the basics of foxtrot and waltz.

Vi hyllar Göteborg 400 år med pärlor ur alla musikaler som satts upp på GöteborgsOperan genom åren: ett medley med 56 utdrag ur alla 26 musikaler som spelats på vår stora scen från invigningen och fram till i dag. 

Den humoristiska Duratrion – musikalartisterna Tobias Ahlsell, David Lundqvist och Anders Wängdahl – guidar genom den magnifika musikalkavalkaden. De tre står även för sången, tillsammans med musikalartisterna Julia Carlström, Karin Mårtenson Ghods och Micaela Sjöstedt.
Efter konserten förvandlas Stora scenen till en balsal. Där bjuder först GöteborgsOperans Wienerkapell upp till dans och lämnar sedan över taktpinnen till Stardust Big Swing Band med Erik Gullbransson och Smoke Rings Sisters. I dansens virvlar syns frackar, smokingar, hellånga sidenklänningar, svarta fodral och kiltar – klä dig i det du tycker är vackert!

Du väljer själv om du vill toppa kväl­len med någonting gott, före eller efter konserten. Restaurangen, Operabaren och caféerna har olika menyer. De flesta matalternativen måste förbokas, och vi rekommenderar dig att göra det i god tid.

I samband med Trettondagskonsert med bal erbjuds också danskurser där du kan lära dig grunderna i foxtrot och vals.
