Vittorio Grigòlo literally burst into the world's opera elite with a triumphant debut at London's Covent Garden in June 2010, when he presented himself as Chevalier des Grieux in Massenet's Manon . Just four months later, on 16 October 2010, he made his no less famous debut at the Metropolitan Opera as Rodolfo in Puccini's La Bohème . We could also watch his Rodolfo in a live broadcast from the Met on 4/5/2014, in January 2015 he played Hoffmann in Offenbach's Tales of Hoffmann , in January 2017 Romeo in Gounod's Romeo and Juliet and in January 2018 Cavaradossi in Puccini's Tosca . " Vittorio Grigòlo is a 100% Italian tenor", wrote one American reviewer. Born in Arezzo, Vittorio Grigòlo began his singing career at the age of nine as a soloist in the Sistine Chapel choir, at the age of thirteen he made his debut as the Shepherd in Puccini's Tosca at the Rome Opera alongside Luciano Pavarotti. He was then nicknamed "Il Pavarottino"... Today he is considered one of the best operatic tenors of his generation. His concert performances are no less captivating; for all, let's mention the concert for the conquest of the Bastille in 2013 under the Eiffel Tower in front of eight hundred thousand spectators. Works in which Vittorio Grigòlo has appeared on screen include producer Andrea Andermann's memorable 2010 project - Verdi's Rigoletto Live from Mantua with Plácido Domingo in the title role and Vittorio as the Duke.
