Alice follows a white rabbit and enters Wonderland through a magical portal - the picture gallery in the State Museum. There she meets Dideldum and Dideldei, or a pipe-smoking caterpillar. But none of the beings can show her the way and she is not welcome at the tea table of the Hatter and the March Hare either. The Cheshire Cat has an explanation: we're all crazy! Instead of logic, Alice now relies on her imagination - and gets to the place of her longing.
