Biography
Tehmine Schaeffer is a native of Yerevan, Armenia, where she graduated with honors from the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory,in Vocal and Composition. She was the winner of the prestigious International Competition of Young Composers, Crystal Kamerton,in Moscow, 2003. In 2009 Tehmine moved to Moscow and received a special scholarship from the Mikael Tariverdiev Fund. She performed in numerous projects of the Tariverdiev Fund, such as mono-opera and concert for the coloratura soprano, Expectation,with theChamber Orchestra of Kirov Philharmonic, the Minsk Chamber Orchestra,the Ural Philharmonic Orchestra,the Symphony Orchestra of Novgorod and theRyazanskaya Philharmonic.Tehmine won a number of international singing competitions, she was awarded the Special Prize of the International Glinka
