View cast and crewBorn in Bolzano (Italy) in 1987, Andrea Bernard won the 9.th European Opera-directing Prize in 2016 and he staged La Traviata at Festival Verdi in Parma in September 2017 and in Bolzano with Orchestra Haydn. In 2017 he staged Carmen, la stella del circo Siviglia, a children’s opera production of As.Li.Co in cooproduction with Bregenzer Festspiele. In 2008 he started his collaboration as assistant director to Pier Luigi Pizzi for various opera productions all over the world (Italy, Spain, Kazaksthan, Beijing, Moscow,). In 2015 he started to collaborate with Damiano Michieletto working in different production also as revival director (Viaggio a Reims in Amsterdam, La scala di seta OperaLombardia, Die Zauberflöte in Firenze). In 2012 he graduated in architecture at the University of Ferrara.
