Kang Wang

Australian-Chinese tenor Kang Wang is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after young lyric tenors in the opera world. He is a former member of the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program of the Metropolitan Opera and a finalist in the 2017 Cardiff Singer of the World competition. In the 2022-2023 season, Mr Wang makes role debut at the Metropolitan Opera as the Italian Singer in Der Rosenkavalier conducted by Simone Young and makes notable house debuts at Opernhaus Zürich as Rodolfo in La bohème, Opera Hong Kong as Alfredo in La traviata and Rodolfo in La bohème.
